On the auspicious day of Vaishakha (the second month) bright fortnight and Uttara the twelfth lunar mansion (27th April, 1980) at Indore (MP) the retrograde Jupiter (also known as Guru signifying Master) was to be in forward motion. The Master had made some calculations with his fingers the earlier night as if ‘the day’ was fixed for departure and there was no need to seek further time from God. With the feeling of fulfillment that ‘God had assigned me four tasks and I have accomplished eight’; total contentment radiated on his face. At about 0100 am, the master asked for the holy water of Ganga and Tulasi leaves. Soon after the Master shifted his head from pillow to Sharad dada’s (Most Rev Vishnu maharaj) lap and the next instant the flame of life was merged one with the Purna (The Universal Person).
The Master-disciple meet (Utsav) at Parner of 1980 was pervaded by the gloom of the Masters’ departure. Nevertheless, in accordance to his wishes Adv. Vishnu Maharaj (Worthy son of an illustrious father) reached Parner after performing the thirteenth day rites of the Masters’ demise.

We are continuing the “Pornawad” series of articles hereby with the third article of this series. In this article we are presenting Rev. Pa Pu Ramchandra Maharaj Parnerkar’s teachnigs and his social work. We feel it is necessary to present every single piece of information about Ramchandra Maharaj because without knowing his work there is no point starting with his teachings and philosophy of “Poornawad”. So we will first see his social work and then proceed to core of our Philosophy.
Social Work:
Dr. Ramchandra Parnerkar Maharaj believed in practice before preaching. A great experimentalist in the realm of social sciences he transformed the lives of thousands ofhis disciples. They benefitted from the stark practical approach of his teachings leading to a fulfilling and happy human life. In the later years, Most Rev. Dr. Parnerkar Maharaj wrote three thought provoking books namely ‘Parisarat’ (The Environment), ‘Sampark’ (Rapport), ‘Sangharsh’ (The Conflict). Hw was a poet of high caliber. His mastery over words and poetic imagination is amply manifested in his works namely ‘Abhinav Abhanga’ - a collection of his poems. He fulfilled the duties entrusted to him by lord Ganesha and has expressed his complete satisfaction with life in the closing chapter of his work ‘Sangharsha’.

In the first article of the series poornawad - a gem of philosophy we saw the biographical information of Rev. Dr. Ramchandra Parnekar Maharaj, now in this article we will actually tell you how Rev Ramchandra Maharaj met with lord Ganesha. Most of the people who does not belive in god will say we are making vague statements but as you know it is possible to awaken the sleeping person but not the one who is acting asleep. A gem of philosophy
It gives us immense pleasure to start this category “Philosophy” and the first post in it. Philosophy, a never so easy term for most of us, what it exactly means? is it related to GOD only! ? well well, people to pull you out of all this confusion and guide each one of us towards correct path and to teach the correct meaning of word Life, here we are introducing a gem of Philosophy called “Poornawad”.
Term “Poornawad” was coined by Vidvatratna Dr. Rmachandra Prahlad Parnerkar Maharaj. We will initially start our series of articles by introducing Vidvatratna Dr. Ramchandra Prahlad Parnerkar Maharaj and move along to present you with his enlightenment of Lord Ganesha as his guru or in simpler words his actual, real meet with Lord Ganesh.
