The demand is overwhelming and O2 website could not cope with the tremendous traffic that it is generating which is whopping 12000+ per second. The phone is supposed to get launched in more than 22 countries on Friday and are - Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK and the US. Many stores have separated the iPhone stock for selling.

The new iPhone, which can exploit faster networks than the original, has GPS location chips and supports corporate email such as Microsoft’s Outlook.The device combines an iPod music player and Web browser with basic voice-calling functions. The 8GB Apple 3G iPhone will cost no more than $199.00 wherever it launches. Hope fully UK people will get it aroung 100£.
