Whether or not you will be losing weight depends on two factors:

Your commitment towards it and your actions that are being taken to  achieve that goal. However, the real question someone that wants to lose weight would like to know the answer to is, Can weight loss be really   simple?

This question pertains to the two factors previously stated plus few extra steps taken in performing it. Here are a set of question an average person wanting to lose weight would ask:

1. Why is losing weight so hard to do?

Its not necessarily hard to lose weight if one really wants to. The problem he or she faces is the commitment that has to be made. One should adapt to a different lifestyle that suits ones needs. Eat less, do more is the common moto that has to be kept in mind.

2. What are the simple steps that I can take in order to increase my chances of losing weight?

There are few steps you can take to increase your chances of losing your weght. When you go to the supermarket to shop for groceries again, read the labelings of some food packets. Learn about what foods you are eating. Buy more fruits and vegetables than you do of other products to ensure your health safety. Of course, this doesnt mean you cannot buy any junk foods or products high in carbohydrates. However, it is important to note that you need all the minerals in your body to sustain your body. Therefore, buy these in a moderate amount. Do simple exercises like walking up and down the stairs or go for a stroll at the park for at least an hour once per day.

3. How can I ensure myself that I wont be gaining back the few pounds that I lost?

If you did the simple steps mentioned above adequately, then it should not have been difficult for you to maintain your weight. However, if you are facing these problem, couple of things you could do are:

reduce the amount of caloric intake, cutting the serving portions, and maybe to some extent, getting rid of junk foods. One way to keep track of how you are doing is to record a list of every single thing you ate at that specific day. Then, make another list next to the foods of whether or not they were healthy. This makes you aware of how you are dealing with the foods. If you have way more healthy than you do for unhealthy in the list, consider yourself nicely done in making the right choices of foods.

4. Is being fat or skinny determined by genes?

In a way, yes. Appearance of the body is determined 39.87% by genes, whereas the surrounding environment is 60.13% In other words, the genes may or may not determine your appearance. But the percentages show that it primarily depends on what you do.

5. Can a little bit of weight loss have a tremendous impact on health?

The answer is yes, of course. Did you know, that as little as 10% of weight lost means that up to 50% decrease in health problems, such as hear attacks, diabetes, and disorders of the body? This shows that losing weight is worth more than you think it is.

So back to the question, Can weight loss be really simple?

The answer may be both yes and no. It all depends on what you do to achieve that goal. You can do it the simple way and lose few pounds little by little until your set-point, or you can exercise vigorusly and lose loads of pounds, whichever way you want. However, regardless of what you choose, the main factor in all this is commitment. You have to be ready to change your lifestyle if its a must in losing weight.
