Alcohol and smoking have become a part and parcel of modern lifestyle. Advertisements, movies and celebrities promote these poisons in attractive form and our young generation easily falls prey to them. Also peer pressure is start of these addictions. Innocent youngsters who refuse to dring and smoke are labelled as “ non happening or outdated” and bullied and so just to keep up their status in peer group, guys and girls start drinking alcohol and smoke at very tender age. This is the start of their end.their families suffer much more than they do. Alcohol is the reason behind most broken families in India. Let’s help somebody lead a good life.
These medicines can help your near ones to give up smoking and alcoholism. Help them quit these poisons and give them better standard of living.
Treatment:
1.WALNUT: this medicine is extremely helpful to break up a habit, may it be smoking or alcoholism. It reduces the desire to cosume it by breaking the chain and helps the patient to adjust in public.
2. SCLERANTHUS: this patient gives up smoking and alcoholism for sometime and starts it again. This is due to weakness of will or commitment. He cannot stand by his decision to leave these habits.
3. CHERRYPLUM: this remedy helps the persons who may or may not be habituated but they do have the temptation to consume liquor n smoke if they see others doing it.i.e. This remedy reduces temptation to dring or smoke.
All the above 3 remedies can be used together in combination at a time. Take 4globules minimum 4 times a day. These medicines can be given to the patient without his knowledge. Just mix them in their drinks or plain water. Globules dissolve in few mins. They have no side effect or any concept as over drugging. They can be safely given to patients in all ages. Dosage could be 6 to 8 times, if needed.
4. NUX VOMICA: this remedy can be given to patients who consume liquor badly beat their wives and kids. Nux vomica reduces the desire to take alcohol and also reduces its dependence. If patient is unable to abandon his habit and turns to alcohol in times of stress or depression, turns abusive and unco-operative in abstaining from wines, consumes alcohol to counter the burden of heavy work, use nux vomica 30x, 4globules 2 times a day for 1month. Its mother tincture can be taken too. Add 10 drops of liquid in water or drinks 2 times a day.
5. SULPHUR 30x: it can be given to the persons who are in the process of giving up alcohol but are suffering from its harsh effects already. 4 globules daily for 10 days.
7. SULPHURIC ACID MOTHER TINCTURE: mix 10-12 drops of it in liquor or water. Patients will give up alcohol in sometime. In the process they may suffer from diarrhoea and mouth ulcers but not to worry, they will be fine on their own. If diarrhoea is more give pulsatilla 30x 2doses at the gap of 4hrs. Also give sulphuric acid atleast for a month.
8. QUERCUS MOTHER TINCTURE: 10- 15 drops in water for atleast a few times a day for several months will help a person to quit drniking wines completely.
9: CALADIUM 12x or 30x: 4globules 3 times a day helps to give up smoking and its bad effects.. cures smoker’s cough.
Other things that can help are:

earlier i was a regular drinker. now a days after taking a sip of drink containing alcohol eyes becomes red, red rashes appears all over the body, facing difficulty in breathin & high BP. how 2 overcome the problem.
Try to abstain from alcohol… If you cant then start taking Belladonna 30 as soon as problem starts,4globules every 15min.Stop taking medicine as soon as you feel good.

vinayak,start mixing Quercus glandium spiritus mother tincture in his drinks. 15drops twice a day for atleast a month. Also Belladona 200C (liquid) 3 to 4 drops every 7th day. My husband is additicted to alcohol and takes Bear/other wines in heavy quantity. In daily routine he can’t check himself and always creates embarrassing situation.

Every morning when i wake up i hate the drinking and till 5.00pm i am quite confident and sure that i will not drink..but i do not know what happens when the sun start setting …my desire to have the alchool gets strong and i start drinking with an intetion to quit it from the next day. i take around 180ml everyday.

Im 23 years old and I’ve been drinking since last 4 years on a regular basis. Earlier i used to enjoy drinking alot but as the time passed by I started experiencing the side effects. I tried to quit alcohol many a times. Consulted a few homeopathic physicians too. I am facing many problems since last 2 years. I always have a cold blocked nose, headache, fatigue, and weakness. I have a strong urge to quit alcohol but it never lasts more than 10 days. Currently its been 6 days I havent taken any alcohol and m taking nux vomica 200 5 globules everyday But Im feeling sick and weak having cough sore throat with a bad body pain. Please suggest me a good medicine. I really wanna quit drinking.

one more thing Doc I forgot to tell i dont smoke. Its been 3 years since i quit smokin. Apart from the symptoms i listed in my previous message i have some stomach disturbances and insomnia. I dont feel sleepy during night. I go to bed at around 1 am but sleep at around 4. During that time many thoughts continue to disturb me. Even when i am asleep i can hear or see things. My mind does not relax.

My condition is same as Sumit has. None of my family member or friends ever had alchohol but I use to have. I use to pledge on daily basis not to have alchohol, also I am a smoke edict. I want to quit both of them as they are harming me physically and financially as well.
I really want to quit alchohol and smoking. I tried my best with my will power but all went in vain.
Please help me out if you can, I will be really greatfull to you.

I use to sleep late night i.e. after 1 AM daily and it takes around 30-45 min for me to sleep while lying on bed and when I am drunk than I sleeps within 5-10 min

my husband has been regularly drinking since last 3-4 yrs.a mth. ago he was hospitalised for a week as he has developed multiple ulcers in his
stomach and also his lever is damaged upto 40%-60%.doctors are giving him medicines for helping him in withdrawl of alchohol and have strictly told him to give up drinking.still he is drinking daily sometimes more or less. please give me some medicine which can be given to him without his knoweledge and can help him quit alchohol completely. also let me know whether it can be given along with aleopathic medicines without any reaction or side effect, as I cant stop those medicines at present.
