Abhinav Bindra Grabs India’s First Olympic 2008 Gold

India’s leading shooter Abhinav Bindra wrote is name in the  history of indian sports by winning the first ever individual Olympic Gold Medal for the country in the Beijing shooting range. Abhinav won the gold in 10m Air Rifle event. Abhinav Bindra scored 700.5 points in the final. The 23-year-old and  two-time Olympian, scored 596, and shot a 102.1 in a nerve-wracking climax to emerge top from a strong field of 122 shooters from nearly 100 countries. He scored a series of 100,99,100,98,100 and 99 in the qualifiers.

Well done Abinav We are proud of you. Lets cheer up for India’s First gold medal in Olympic 2008.
