3 Best SAP Netweaver Portal Books

Submitted by Alpesh Chaudhari on May 24, 2010 – 5:27 pm No Comment

Throughout the initial days of my job, I always missed a crisp way to start with. SAP Netweaver Portal is such a vast ocean that you will always feel that you no nothing. Therefore it is the best suited approach if as a SAP Portal consultant, you start learning through these 3 books. One of them is a complete reference to SAP Netweaver protal. Others are SAP Press books and there is also a developer’s guide. I would love to promote this book specially because I never had a hands-on guide to start my stint as a developer. So people, hold on and do read entire post. This may change they way people look at you. Having one of these books will certainly add up to your knowledge. I have also given links to these book in between this post.

1. SAP® NetWeaver Portal Technology: The Complete Reference

What people say about this book -I use to find lot of books on “The Complete Reference” on Java etc.. I Never buy. But After I bought “The Complete Reference SAP NW Portal” I really surprise that, this is only book on SAP Portal gives you all… Information in One book.

My advise, this books is worth of Milion$

The Level of detail and information in this book is simply phenomenal

2. SAP Netweaver Portal

What people say about this book -

I buy the book a bit fast, but I am fully satisfied with the content.

3. Developer’s Guide to SAP NetWeaver Portal Applications (English and German Edition)

I personally loved this book. It is a great resource for a Netweaver Portal developer. It captures every bit of portal development and indeed a great book to start with and sharpen development skills.

What I loved about this book is its detailed approach in development cycle. Hardly we know anything about NWDI development cycle and this book captures it quiet nicely.
